Look at
the valances! They are beautiful in pumpkin velvet, swagged
over iron rods. The walls were faux painted by Chet Baker
in a burnt orange. The fireplace "faux" finish of
limestone was designed by Robin Stater and painted by Linda
Newman, as well as the entry foyer with its dramatic arch.
Leather and fabric sofas sit on a Tufenkian carpet, while
a square map table centers the room.
A Washington
D.C., executive and his charming West coast partner owns this
beautiful "Chateau" style home. Their mountain retreat
offers them great times: skiing and her passion, "trail
running."
The bedroom
for guests is cozy in a "Tyrolean" mountain style.
The master
bedroom has custom bedding by Robin Stater and a fantastic
custom armoire, also designed by Robin.
