This cozy mountain retreat is the second home for an active couple fron Las Vegas. The living room features a sectional made of green leather and chenille geometric floral. The sofa is filled with down for cozy and comfortable seating. Accenting this custom sectional is a Tufenkian carpet from Tibet. The colors in the carpet are russet gold, taupe, and green, all hand woven into an intricate yet simple pattern.

In the master bedroom a custom log and twig canopy bed was made by Davey McCoy. The custom bedding by Robin features a red plain wool fabric from Ralph Lauren. The accent throw pillow in leather, fringe and studs is from Double D Ranch. All paint colors by Robin Stater.

Wool buffalo plaid covers the hickory chairs in the home office. The desk is covered in a deep chestnut from Highland Designs.

In the den a sofa covered in "Flea Market" leather from Dino Mark Anthony gives the well-worn look for a favorite leather jacket. This room, used to watch television by guests, is just off of the Jacuzzi room, used after a long day of skiing or mountain bike riding.

Also in the den is a rocker that was custom made by a local Mammoth artist using twigs and branches to fit perfectly into this unique chair. This artist, Stu Bownes, also created the twisted log railing on the balcony of the Sierra Design Studio store (see remodeling). All paint colors by Robin Stater.
